My Magmatic Blades do over 100 more DPS than the Expedition Recurves bows, but everyone is recommending the Bows... What am I missing?

magmas do more dps thats right .
But its only the damage per second with your weapon (autoattack/ normal attack)
The thing is : The damage of your skills are depending on your Damage and not Dps.
So with an bow your making harder hits (with skills). At bosses Bows are better.
Magmas are good if your doing things like wt (Killing alot mobs with low hp).
