Ratio-ing is fun! What do you do for fun?

I just got into the trend of making a PvE ratio character, got to say, it was fun!

I died last night after 6k kills trying to level in a higher dungeon, first time in a LONG time I actually cursed out loud because of dying. D:

What do you do for fun lately? Other than farm. :)

I cursed when I died from being 15 kills away from a 40,000 kill / 400 death ratio...Now gotta work for 50,000 / 500.

I do the opposite Elly, after 56 I been dying all the time, even in Plasma and forest haven :p approaching 1800 death now heh.

Being new player, I am raising mage just to realize how tough it is to be a mage. Then gonna raise bear. Or I should just forget them as I am not even close to be a good bird anyway~

Kanital showed me some tips on PVP.

Most of all, I enjoy meeting new friends through friends, learn new tricks and have fun dying/chatting while farming.

I think ratio-ing and PVP will be the last 2 things i touch :p

PvP. I'm getting bored of twinking, 20 isn't fun for me and 25 isn't a challenge so hopefully my new 35 will be fun. I made 2 ratio characters. My third is lvl 13 with 825 Kills and no deaths, gonna level him if I ever stop farming. Other than that sit in town:p

You're one of my favorite birds to play with in case you haven't noticed :)

I thought I'd never get into ratio-ing too! But when I tried it, it came out fun. Especially playing dress up with them! (sorry family business is fashion).

Whoa, wait... you mean Hardcore? You mean an immortal?

I tried several times, DOING ALL QUESTS. Anyone can do it without quests. I kept dying on the first quest in Lost. I haven't gotten past level 25.

Sure, I can make a good ratio but that would mean I would probably have to equip a talon/shield combo and hang around the back...Totally against my style of playing :) It's very hard maintaining a good ratio when you're at the front as a bird with a bow and 85-90 armor...

Not really an Immortal, no quests. Just plain old kill farming but not dying either :D

i made this guy a few weeks b4 sewers came out to farm lvl10 drops. got bak on him yesterday and hit 10k kills. so today i decided to do qsts on him. pretty ez so far and only had a close call when i rushed to the boss. staying lvl10 on this one so i know balefort castle qsts are going to be sik trying to stay alive solo. he my only ratio toon and i am solo alot so if anybody wants to join me add

You inspired me to start one last night, going Snake's hardcore route. Pure dex bird, just got to level 19 and approaching 1500 kills. Working on the Balefort quests now. I have a feeling that, barring running into a good group, the Goblin King bomb guys will be my undoing.

And Hoggy, I find mostly solo has been better. I can pull as many or as few as I want without getting a mob stomped or Firestormed into me by oops.

Currently lvl 13, it's so slow cause I have to wait for everyone else to do the work :p

Nice ratio. I guess that was before the death rule. I'd like to duel you to make that 0 a 1. :)

My best is around 17K kills, then I died. ATM I started leveling another alt, he hasn't died yet (bow bear) but is only lvl 17 with 1.3K kills (not a kill farmer yet)

Goblin King bomb guys have nailed me twice, but I got past them three times. Once I kited them and the goblin king at the same time doing it solo. A mage can self-combo them, and a bird can too, but there might be one left standing.

According to Chickdigcookies, who had a paladin on the kill ratio boards for a while (Pallysaurus), one death did not knock him off the board. My guess is that it is because computers don't allow division by zero, so they use a 1 when you have zero deaths to compute the ratio.

I remember when I had a good pve ratio. Till I hit 50 with like 17k kills and 80ish deaths then I met AO3 overlord pugs...

Now I have over 1k deaths /nuff said

That's what I thought at first too, anything over 0 isn't really a ratio. Over 1 still keeps it the same. I just thought all the deaths had a +1 on them. Thanks for letting me know :)

The intent is to get so many kills with no deaths that you make the leader boards. Each person finds what motivates them. I think it is cool that there are so many different things to do in this game. You can't possibly do all of them. Clearly you might not want to do some of them. But, if something is not for you, do try not to put it down when someone else likes it.
