- More avatars.
i would love if the devs added a 50-100 or so list of approved meme/internet avatars for our use. i dont like having the same avatar as 10 different active forum members

-More "ranks"
you get junior member, member, and senior member pretty fast if you're active enough on the forums
why not make more ranks!

-Forest Haven (junior member)
- Dark forest (member)
- Balefort castle (senior member *100-500 posts*)
- Fathom crypt (500-1000 posts)
- lost expedition ( 1000-2000 posts)
- Ancient swamps (2000-3000 posts)
- Alien Oasis (3000-4000 posts)
- The Galactic Trials (4000-5000 posts)
- Balefort sewers (5000-6000 posts)
-(next campaign) (6000-7000 posts)
- Above and Beyond (above the current campaign posts) (as for now, above 6,000)

I like the idea for ranks, but instead of locations, maybe they can be the same names as the ones you get for killing 1000 enemies, etc?

That would be really awesome to have, however I think it would add a lot of unnecessary time and work for an STS employee. They would have to look through tons of avatars all the time in order to make sure they are acceptable.

I think a wider variety of avatars would be a good first step :)

meh, be practical. dev approving for avatars? even to go through their texture packs looking for icons to use?

the one thing i would thing has to be done someday is a general help section. maybe as a subforum of the general discussion section. let discussion be that, and let questions be themselves too. they are different in nature.

Yup, good stuff Kossi. Thanks for the well thought out suggestion. We've got some stuff planned for the forums, but first I'm working on testing out upgrading the forums to the latest version of vBulletin: there's some nifty new stuff there. Once we get that done, then we'll get trucking on more goodies like what you outline!

Sweet Samhayne, I have been irritated with the thread search thing. It doesn't work well, and isn't in newest or oldest.

Like when I search my made threads in my account options, posts from like 6 months ago are popping up near the front and new posts are like in the back or middle.

What about an avatar design contest? There are lots of creative souls stalking around forums searching for an artistic outlet! (and you can pay them in plat :)) Don't let their talents go to waste!

One winner...but all approved avatar designs could be made available..... just an idea!

I already custom fitted it for the forums. It is 80x88. (Regular is 80x80.)

If it doesnt work, can i use it? lol...
