<Elite Runners> Recruitment Thread

Dear Arlor friends!

In order to make it easier for both you and us to enter Elite Runners guild, we decided to make a brand-new thread where you can post your applications. Based on the information you post about yourself, we will try to get in touch with you and take you for a test run.

NEW! You should have at least 50k PvE kills, in particular if you're a mage or a rogue.

Test run is usually conducted in Elite MIsty Grotto or Planar Tomb 2, but according to circumstances sometimes we chose places like Forest of Shades, Jagged Trail or Caves of Tarewa. Sometimes we conduct more than one run in different environments. During the test run you should:

1) If you are a warrior, you should maintain aggro, set up pulls, lead run to the boss if applicable and use appropriate skills to cripple boss. Amongst your skills Horn of Renewal, Axe Throw and Chest Splitter should not be missing.

2) If you are a rogue, you should demonstrate ability to pick up and kill the most dangerous mobs first, such as Shadowmancers, Shamans, Spike Wolves or Big Dudes of any kind. Aimed shot, Noxious bolt and Shadow piercer are a must. Consider using Razor shield in Ren'gol with Spinning Freedom upgrade in particular if you don't have Nekro. Also traps are warmly welcome.

3) If you are a sorcerer, you should demonstrate your ability to maintain crowd control. Your clock should always drop on the biggest cluster of mobs, your ice should be charged making use of the mass freeze chance and your fireball should knock down the mobs when running to boss. Fireball, Ice, Timeshift and Light for boss are a must.

Note: Many pros will disagree with the above skills, for example many pro mages use Gale Force. Nevertheless, the above mentioned skills ensure safe runs for an average party. If you consider that you have mastered your individual build, you can demonstrate it during recruitment runs.

Note: If you want, you can blur or mask out your guildname. But unfortunately, we can't allow you to mask your IGN. As for the elite maps APs - we want to make sure here that you openly admit the missing APs. We don't like players joining ER only in order to achieve some hard-core APs, such as Mount Spyr or Rockhorn Summit. So, no problem doing the APs with you but be patient. BTW, an elite runner - rogue in particular - should be able to solo all maps until Nordr. Best players solo any map.

While I love my current guild, I have hard times to find a party for elite farming.


Very important: During our big pulls, it can happen that you die. It's no big deal if it happens every now and then, it happens to us too, of course. But, unless very close to the start of the map (first pull), you are expected to use ankhs or plats for revival. We don't wait for you keeping the boss alive and we don't expect you to leave the party fighting a pull while you are struggling back!!!

And one more thing - don't use the popular word "lag" when you die. If you lag, wait with your recruitment run. We are pros enough to distinguish wheather you're dying because of lags or because of something else.

I can't find partyes for elite runs..it's hard to find a party in generally for elite or tombs when u don't have mythic or arcane weapon and pet. In my opinion i have a basical stats for a pve

Life giver is pvp build, and passive damage is kinda useless as most pets has it

I have a couple of suggestions :
1. PVE kill count is very low, we ask for at least 50k (its not taht much for endgame)
2. Damage as passive is practically useless do you need to get rid of it and max out NOX (an active skill)
3. Check the first post for suggested skill points destrebution

I mainly run fireball/ice/time bomb/lighting

My favorite pets are nilbog/gyrm/kelvin/Shiloh (love the speed boost)

I havnt done any of the nodr+ elite maps (never found a team) I have soloed all elites below nodr.

The reason I want to join elite runners: I really want a team to try new elites with, im not really into farming AP, im after those loot drops :D.

My stats normally are 550 int damage 750 dps 3.3k hp

I always focus on grouping mobs together. I like to let the tank group them, then I drop timebomb, charge ice, then charged fireball. Rotate charged ice and fireball. Sometimes I run different 4ths depending on the map we are running.

I have 10,950 ap atm. Upgraded mythic/lunar/blood ruby/ sadly still only using grand planar rod of brutality. Always have my lepre on stand by :D

I have ran some of shuyal elite but only like 2 maps.

I hope you consider me to be able to join elite runners. I fully understand if your yoi find my stats lacking. I do not want to be a burden on my team. Thank you Kiwotsukete

Hi Strag, I was AFK when you was writing me in game.
Lets speak about skills, you have to do some respec first:
CS - maximum of 3 skill points (last upgrade is must-have, first upgrade is able-to-have)
Rallying Cry - dont use this skill in elites (reasons: dmg reduction doesnt scale with others dmg reductions (Ripmaw, Nightshade, Singe, Juggernaut etc...); Speed bonus doesnt scale with others speed bonus (few pets add bigger speed bonus than this skill); dodge doesnt work for red zones)
Damage - dont use this passive skill, dmg bonuses dont scale, so if you have pet, which adds 10% dmg, thereafter your passive damage skill is useless

We played this game together since day one and are relatively fresh to it. We started a few months ago and play purely PvE. I will post only one description for both of us because our characters are basically twins.

Passives: Str, Int, Dex, Crit

Actives: Ice, Fire, Clock, Shield, Lightning, Lifegiver, Gale
We always use Ice, Fire, Clock and Shield for Elites, but swap Time with Lightning against bosses.
Lifegiver and Gale are just for mana and speed, means quality of life changes, while not needing big performance.

3. Colton, Malison, Courage, Orion, Ethyl, Konga

4. We basically finished all up to Kraken and all APs needed for Parchment Quest.

5. We play purely PvE and currently work on our Nekros. We obviously do not have the best gear, but finished the Parchment Quest, own 2 Fossils and a bunch of Vials. We need a PvE and Elite home, since it is so hard to find people to join us in Elites and Arena to farm Vials. We decided to buy Platinum whenever there is an event(Ursoth) or expansion, so we might also grow in gear over time.
We currently prepare for Rengol Elites with our efforts to craft our Nekros. We think on the new maps stun immunity will be a big deal. We basically always use Shield and we hope that we together with 2 Nekros can offer enough survivability and stun immunity to a group(so a warr can keep his aggro easier) and indirectly increase the dps(laying on the ground stunned and reviving costs time/damage) and contribute to overall safe runs.

To be very honest I am not sure you are ER material, i have personally replied to you a couple of times that you need to achieve our requirements first (and let's be honest those requirements are not that demanding!)
And then i see you post in other threads to join as well..Decide what guild you wish to join first, achieve its requirements and just join, no need to make drama replies, no one will invite you to guild out of pity
We look for experienced and matured (in behavior)players who can run elites and help other guildies

Thank you for taking interest in ER
First of all you need to respec, you have pvp build with heal, pve mages need: clock, ice, shield, fire as active and int, crit, str, dex as passive
Secondly we are not ap makers, if you want to join our guild, you need to run elites regularly, and not join cause of aps...
Thirdly, you didn't post you screen shots nor your ign...

Contact any officer /recruiter mentioned on the first page and we'll arrange test run in elite if still interested
