... just to change things up a bit.
The sad part is
I LIKE IT NOW! :D
A long time ago I tried it and didn't care for it. No vision of things ahead. Can't target easily. And probably some other excuses to not use it.
Things I like
-as Moogerfooger said, "It's intense!"
-you can appreciate the gfx a bit more
-it's fun counting the arrows stuck to your chest!
-you're practically forced to time grates properly with how huge they, their health bars and pre-explosion flickers are
-it feels FASTER! :)
You also learn to rely more on the triangles on the map. Especially the orange one. But I actually find Hideout more fun zoomed in *without* the map. :)
(oh yeah, I also turned camera effects back on a while back for kicks too. there's a certain fun challenge to being able to control and attack with your character while the effects are happening).
