Ok but for real now, what happened late 2013?
Like every 2nd person from forums seems to have a account from 2013...
And of they dont, they are veterans Who has been around since like since day one when PL released or like people Who signed up last summer.

2013 is the year when Jagex release EoC (Evolution of Combat). I simply quit playing Runescape because I got bored. It was summer, I had my ipod and I was looking for new games to play. I looked for an old game called Galaxy Legend using the search bar and I found Star Legends. I started playing SL in July 2013. I then quit playing it in august and restarted in november. I got interrested in farming vanities, so I googled "vanity drop location Star Legends" and I ended up in a thread in forums. Since then, I joined forums.

Back in 2013, SL was ranked in app store. You must remember that A SL was best MMO in 2012 and AL was best MMO in 2012 and 2013. If you're looking for links between all these join dates, I think it's the popularity in app store and probably google play in 2013. Hopefully, this helps you understand.

AL is getting an EoC type update if people keep complaining about class imbalances...

(Old school runescape(2007scape)=Old school arcane legends(2013ne legends)?

Well, the big thing about runescape is that it was 40% gear, 10% prayer, 10 % potions, 10% summuning, 10% food, 10% strategy and 10% luck. With EoC, they added skills to the combat system and it became like this: 30% gear, 10% prayer, 10% potions, 10% summuning, 10% food, 10% skills, 5% strategy and 10% luck. Old School RS is not similar to Old school AL. Anyways, Jagex banned 90% of it's players in 2011-2013... which are bots, reducing the daily player count from 100-300k to 15-20k. Imagine the income from memberships: 5,75$ x 80'000 = 460k$ per month. That huge reduce of players means a hell lot less income from memberships. They started sinking money from loyalty programs (forcing players to never break their membership), with real world trading (they started selling RSpoint, the equivalent of platinums, to buy vanities and special effects) and a wheel of fortune...

I loved the special effects and bought the demon teleport: basically a giant demon coming off the ground, picking you up and you're like "I rule this world with my huge demon!", then going back in the ground.


To sum up everything, the rise of forumers in 2013 can't be simply related to Jagex deeds...
