So for my english class, teachers been telling us to finish books, our choice, as hw, but she never checked. And today, with those 7 books we read, we must write an essay each about how there significant to our lives... WTF its due tomorrow!!! I chose all these easy books and theyre all sci-fi.. HOW DOES SCI-FI RELATE TO MY LIFE??? HALP!!! though i find it hilarious for my friends who decided not to read at all.. so anyway, ill be on until 4 today xD cuz i got a science powerpoint due with script and brochure thats half of our quarter grade.. wish me luck :D

Well the thing about sic fi is imagination. Imagination is something we all need. If we didn't have any imagination, we would all be dull and no fun. Our imaginations are what make us who we are. Hope this will help a bit.

and see thats what makes it harder, i did 4 books from the same series, so my essays will be so similar..

I did an oral book report based on the book jacket and having read like 5 pages. Worked, and next time, the teacher figured she would trip me up and asked me how the book ended, and luckily I had actually read that book :)

Oh, and frenzin, tried that one in like 8th grade, and the teacher was like why did you do a book report on a book for fourth graders!

My teacher "encourages" reading outside of the box LOL as long as its not porn. she says violence is ok LOL and thats resident evil. yup its in book form, its awesome :D

You read just the first Enders game? Shame the series is amazing. Resident evil sounds like the worst pulp you could ever find, D=! Next time you pick Sci-Fi try Nueromancer, it is very good. As far as the essay, just write how you relate to the character, maybe tell your teacher that if you did happen to get jumped by a swarm of un-dead, or a fleet of buggers try to get you, you could deal with the situation easily.
