would you suggest the gemstone staff set or the wand set for PvP...
Should scarifice armor for damage in PvP... your thoughts?

Wand. I can tank bears in full fury with no problems and survivability against other mages is excellent.

some mages get up to 46-47 MS ITS CRAZY :/ and sucks hard for my bear :,( he amount of armour damage and regen is just to overpowerering for some classes

this only is true if mana shield it up and during the cool down the mage is toast no??
Also, if the mage is toe to toe with a bird, the blast shot kills the shield and the mage is still toast no?

Bears can still be tanked. I have had fight with bears that went on and on and on. I've gone through like three or four mana shields before finishing the fights, and that is playing ON TOP OF THE BEAR.
Mana shield, or no mana shield, the birds are all a gamble.... especially since half of them multitouch. If you're really fast, mana shield isn't absolutely necessary. I'm by no means pro against birds, but I CAN fight them without mana shield while they are fully buffed. You just have to think on your feet and pull a lucky dodge or two.

Wand Set is Still better The added armor helps a ton....

its a decoy... i shortened my robe to mini skirt and will show my legs from behind the trees.. Lone will no doubt stop and stare and thats when i pounce~!

i guess it depends for each player but i found the staff set to be more effective in PVP due to the substantially higher damage dealt.
admittedly, you die pretty quick without mana shield but i get more than my fair share of skills using the staff.

well we have 2 weeks at least to train.... by then we should know for sure which suits us best... too bad myst, toughie or Elly is not joining... that would be a hard team to beat (assuming they team up)... blessing in disguise i suppose

Weird thing is, the one with the staff either finishes the combo and I still have plenty of mana to kill them with or I drain their mana and they cannot finish... and I just finish them with all the mana I still have.

Lol maybe everyone else is too slow... There have been a few that could take me down, but I almost always win in 1v1 against mages.

To be honest, I'm no good at group fights. I can only really do well in 1v1. I'm going to have to watch my step for the tourney. I like to charge :P

I'd pick wand.
TBH, I hate going up against a good mage with a wand set, almost makes it impossible to take down.
Staff is good too, insane damage, but you'd need a tank in front of you to actually maximise it. :)

I hate facing mages, they always get a reheal so quick which is like impossible to kill a mage. A full int mage would be too easy to kill if you have a good combo which would ko it really quick.

You're a bird, aren't you? And you hate mages....?
Birds are so OP, our mana shield is useless against them, and they can basically destroy us in a single combo.
