Premium Ring for Pure Int Mage

I never had a ring before and thinking of getting one. So tell me, what's the best ring for a pure int mage and why. Also, what other effect does a ring adds other than to boost stat. Is it worth to get a ring.

Here are my 2 cents.

I typically use two rings, in two different outfits. One of them is the fine crystal ring of bravery for offense (1 crit, 2 m/s, 5 damage) and the other is the is the champion's fine silver band for defense (2 crit, 20 mana, 4 armor). But that is not the most defensive ring, acrobat's has dodge instead of crits making it better defensively in my opinion, but I like crits over any other stat.

I bought those when I was wearing shadow gear, and wound up wearing the offense ring in bandit boys and goblin maps and the defense ring in catacombs and roach motel (with them nasty little green critters).

I still use them even though I go between mega and fury these days.

Champion's Fine Crystal Ring (which I use) or Champion's Fine Silver Band (more defensive).

I use the Champion's Fine Silver ring. It gives a bit of crit, adds 20 more mana, and armor.

I feel it works great in almost all situations.
