Test server for expansion

In my opinion, I don't think sts should release expansion on test server, and actually play their own game for once,(properly hopefully). Because this gives those with access to it an advantage over those that don't. Also then expansion will become boring in 2 hours since everyone will just repeat the steps needed to get best loot, know what to do, etc. What do you guys think?

I think the expansion is a goldmine in the first week everything will be very expensive then it will cool off a bit but still i think it will be fun to have a few more maps to run and new stuff to get

I agree. No test server. I want to enjoy the expansion. if you make a test server. people will know what to expect.. then its down the drain... :/

No.Totally dissagree with you.
The test server is not for Players to enjoy the game before it comes,it is to find Bugs and fix them.So I hope this thread is removed as it is useless.No offence meant.

I think STS can test it in-house but it would be limited and testing with a lot of people from different region is important as it simulate live gameplay, just be a tester yourself to see whats coming.

I'd rather have 50 people make a whatever profit off this knowledge than constant lag, back-to-back disconnections, imbalanced mechanics and a swarm of bugs as usual. Plus, they've stated that this time around, any information that could benefit anyone in the game pre-update is going to be withheld.

Get on a computer if you don't want to miss out or stay off the forums if you think the beta testing will spoil that sense of surprise and excitement.

I don't think they have a choice 'but' to do a test server.

Developers are never going to catch every single bug, just no way they can think up every possible situation. That's what the player/testers are for. They'll figure out combinations that aren't even supposed to be possible, heh.

Better to use the test server and get all the kinks and possible exploits fixed before things go live.

They didn't fix these things when we had the test server the last two times, so what makes you think it would be fixed this time? If the test server run events had not been released full of the same bugs reported in the forum, I would likely agree with you, but the bugs were not fixed before full release.

Last I checked it was only available on Android, not Chrome.

Dont think the test server would be an issue at all if it was open for ios and android. Seems most that are against the test server are the people who cannot access it. STS fix this issue and everyone will be happy IMO.

So much for no offense. This thread is for people to express their opinions. IMO I believe the sts team themselves should play to find bugs/glitches(do they not have testers anymore?), therefore the expansion remains a surprise. If people know what to do already, in a week or few days they will come back on forums to complain its boring. Let people figure things out instead of giving them all of the answers, I'd say.

I know how, but i can play AL TS on my Lenovo Yoga - 3 pro. Although i wont say my trick, benefits me over the others - im not bluestacks either :P
