IMPORTANT qustion to devs: Unfinished Grind to 56

If we are anywhere between 1-80000 approx lvling from 55-56 in thos long grind.
My question: What happens to all that exp if we dont make it to 56 before the next campaign comes out? Will we automatically lv according to how much exp we have OR will we lose our exp so that we are 1exp away from lv56.

Since the exp elite cap is 10 times the normal amount it would take you to 56, you could probably bet they will divide your exp by 10.

Also if you are one exp away then you must be the unluckiest player in PL

This has been discussed before...what will happen is that the current xp required for 56 (83,840xp) will roughly be divided by ten, so somewhere around 8,500xp. If you are halfway to 56 for example, your xp gained so far would be scaled as well, so you would be halfway to the new 56.

I am pretty sure this is what I have read before, if anyone knows better, please correct :D

Ouch but imo it would be better say if i had 7000exp after they scale down the exp to 56 i would still have 7000

When the subsequent campaign is released to raise the level cap to 60 [er, 61], level 55 to 56 will go from requiring 82000 xp to 8200 xp. We just decided to create the elite level cap to allow users to obtain and wear the Crown of Persistence. Also, the Level 56 Crown of Persistence will no longer be an obtainable item.

There's a gentle slope to all the way to 55, but level 56 is going to require 10 times the normal xp amount...Further content expansions will normalize the required xp between 55 to 56 using the new curve and have another spike at the last level + 1.

If you have 8400 exp after the cap expires, that means you have had 84,000 exp before, past the 83,840 exp mark to reach 56. So you would already have already leveled to 56.

Yes it ia a lot. Imagine if you're at 70k+. I myself will not be using exp pots, until the announcement of level cap increase. Once it's announced, i'll be burning pot. Lol
