Is rogue better than sorcerer? I know it depends on your playstyle, but still, what makes a rogue a GOOD rogue?

In PvE both has pros and cons,
pros on rogue: fast to kill bosses
cons on rogue: slow and hard to crowd control
pros on mage: best of crowd control
cons on mage: slow at killing bosses
In PvP,
rogue pros: fast killing
rogue cons: drain much mana per skill
mage pros: stunt skills and shield are the best
mage cons: less armor
Its all the same, all classes.
but for rogue, timing of your arrow skills and the way you move is important especially if you use heal skills, you should walk into the packs to heal.

another thing...on mage, stuff is a bit cheaper than rog stuff. And potions for rogues are expensive, since they have to spend alot on mana ones as they run out of mana fast. Rogues can solo elites too :3
Mages can...also...yeah....

Rogue better than Sorc! What makes a rogue a GOOD rogue is GOOD Gear, Pet, & Skill :D

Well to me it seems like every rogue can be a good rogue nowadays with the right gear and pet. As your aim is just to deal as much damage as possible you just have to spam your attacks and skils as fast as you can as hope to kill as many things as fast as possible.
Being a good sorcoeror is different, and way more difficult. As a sorceror you're expected to be many things at once -damage-dealer, crowd-controller, tank(YES MAGES CAN TANK) and healer. Fulfilling all of these roles adequately requires a good understanding of your skills as well as a good sense of timing and judgment. And it takes a ton of practise to get to this level of competency as a sorceror. From my experience with playing both classes, the difference between a good rogue and a great rogue isn't that much, but the difference between a half-decent sorceror and one who has mastered his craft is very great- if you find one of these special smurfs, you probably won't want to run with other smurfs again.
Idk about the tank part but ye rest is true

Lol mages can definitely tank :) high end mages with imbued and rendtail with the mages shield can withstand alot of damage and can easily park anything that a tank has to park or tank through.
