This week we're visiting one of the classics in our Pet Egg Crate: Panthers! Visit any Beastmaster to obtain the Cool Cats Crate, which has a chance to drop one of the following panthers: Misty, Kettle, Koko, Abigail and the normally Winter Event Exclusive pet: Snowy!

We've got another one of our regular events in line for you as well, but let's save that for tomorrow's announcement, shall we?

In This Week's News

This week, we shift our focus back to the expansion and the upcoming Goblin Event, which is coming soon! One small change you might notice is that things have shifted around in Windmoore a bit. The Tavern has relocated to the west end of the city as a part of some changes we are making to the new player experience.

Bug Fixes

Everybody loves bug fixes.

+ The Alchemist speech bubble doesn't fly away anymore.
+ Tribal bows no longer show the ice shattering effect for death explosions.
+ Shaman totems can now be targetted by Time Shifts, Fireball and other DoT abilities.

Haha and Snowy is only 20k in CS at the moment. Not much of a goal in those crates :/. Misty is severely flawed and lacking.

This week crates won't be in much demand I think. But still a great work sts, many players who didn't have plat exclusive pets earlier are now being able to get them :)

Would it be possible for the next lot of teasers about the expansion to include some sort of concrete time frame?

When new expansions are announced the game always kind of plateaus- people start winding down and preparing for the new cap and the entire game slows right down as everyone goes into anticipation mode. This has happened very prematurely this time around due to the release of a new Arcane pet at the beginning of Feb and the expansion being announced at the beginning of March. Following the 2 month(ish) timeline of every other expansion release so far, Rage of Rengol would be going live right about now.

Instead, we have literally no idea whatsoever of any projected time frame and lots of very vague teasers, and it has even been hinted that we might expect to see 1-4 weeks of test server expansion before the release of the actual expansion, with no word of a time frame on that either :3

It would just be nice to know if we are talking in weeks months or quarters here...Any piece of of information regarding an intended timeline would be nice and is starting to feel overdue (if Ursoths Wrath is in the works, surely somebody somewhere knows whether its intended to be released when cap is 41, or when cap is 46?).

Thank you reminem! I would like to see elite pet eggs to stop coming from these crates! A new pet would be great though! This will be the least desired crate of all weekends!

I just hope that when the world crates come, nightshade will be inside

Few suggestions:

Bump up the gold payout on elite bosses

Check the bug on the clocks and traps- we got those HP bars back with a vengeance. This was fixed while ago but it's back

Rem we still a little struggling w/ things to keep us busy in the game. If Goblin is still 2+ weeks off can you host another hide and seek game in the forums? Award a FOSSIL!!! Everyone who gets all 7 days or whatever correct gets their name in the drawing. Would give people some incentive to log in every day until Goblin hits.

When u release pet crates, u kill elite farming, when u release expansion teaser u kill arena / tombs farming...so making gold in this game from real farming is a joke, there is only crates crates and crates. We are non plat players is like unwanted child nothing to do and very little payouts. The map itself is a potion and ankh sucker...geez sts can u think deeply about this ?
