Bear and Avian have a pretty useless skill: restore. Maybe i'm wrong but it seems to me that this skill is popular only among beginners... What about improving it? It can be conducted by raise regen value or by additional feature like resurrection (eg. 10% resurrection chance for every skill level) or something similar.

Meditation isn't useless IMO. It can be useful. In PvE you're better off investing the point(s) into a damage bringing skill since that'll help your party out more, since you can use mana pots. But in pvp, if you're lasting a while, especially in a 5V5, it comes in handy! With little regen (4 M/S with pure dex, using raid set or custom set) you tend to run out of mana a bit.

Restore used to have a little bit of use to it, but now, it doesn't really. It used to be awesome to click it and get +5 H/S for a short amount of time, but now, with custom sets at 24 H/S on a pure dex bird, and tanks way up to 36 ish H/S, it's not very needed since the regen is so high, 5 H/S doesn't make a big difference.

Yeah for pvp might be ok Still sewer set will give you a good amount of mana, not sure about this since I really don't pvp., but sewer set seems better for pvp with the health and mana regen.

I could be very wrong though and I agree with Mystic here.

Extraordinary amounts of h/s and m/s in what is considered "end-game" gear has rendered these skills less helpful.

At level 6, Restore for Avians heals a certain amount of health instantly but has that dreadful 5 h/s for 5 seconds, which is a total of a +25 hp regen. I agree that something has to be done with the regen part.

yah, ive been levling my bird lately, and i believe the last time i USED restore and it actually saving me was.. 10 levels ago :D now, restore does absolutely nothing to bird becuz a bird has just so less armor, that only hp pots will save you. Though meditation is very useful.

If they lasted at least 30seconds or a minute they might be useful and for pve I prefer to keep on spamming health and mana pots.

You can farm them on plasma pyramid runs :-)

I used to farm them and had about 14k pots before the expansion, now I just haven't had the time due to farming.

at lv30... with an int bird healed 40 on lv1
at lv30... with a str bird healed maybe 15 on lv1...

interesting

Yep, int doesn't only increase the heal strenght of a mages heal, but it also strengthens the healing of restore.

I wouldn't say useless, but I would say pve a bird (and their team) would be much better off putting those points toward damage.
