Debuffs - Worth it?

Are debuffs worth it at lv35 mage pvp?

at pvp probably no

I'd say nightmare is at least. Nightmare makes a huge difference in PvE but not too sure on pvp.

hmm... weakness could lower hit% of course, but can you pull it off in time before getting knocked out by some bird? all depends on playstyle.

So it would be better to use the points into dmg skills instead?

Also are good lv35 birds strong enough to take out a good equiped mage with buff+shield within seconds?

yes, and they can be a few levels below and easily take you out by spamming. never doubt a bird's power
