hey guys, i was thinking about the current size of PL and how its constantly growing. I guess the sky is the limit with an app as revolutionary as PL, but what do you guys think? Will Pl have upwards of 150,000 players? Will that change bring changes to the game in exiting ways? maybe so maybe not.. but one thing i do know is that in 2001 there was probably someone playing world of war craft thinking something similar..

we hit 5,500 players online once, but the number crashed to almost half in about a week

Thats the unstable part where every growing game gets. The game soars, than it plummets. Goes back to its highest point as before, than continues to go up. Than it reaches a.. flat part? lol idk what its called, but i believe PL overcame that by expanding to android. Than it starts to shoot up. unless the devs abandon us, this game should continue to grow :D
yeah, i think we are at a point where we cant really get smaller unless something drastic happens. so now im just looking at the future and what that holds, i cant possibly imagine what PL will be in a few years

Yea. I rly like the 1.7.1 cause its mainly for new players. So the better the first 2 towns are the more ppl might get interested in the game.

Both of you are correct, I WAS gonna use plateau, but that doesnt make sense in reference to a game does it?
EDIT: actually it does, as im referring to a trend..

at the first 1-2days of release, there was 3.5k+ players online, for ios only
but yea, with expansions hopefully coming to ovi and other stores we could see major increases

You also gotta think bout Blackstar too how many will leave an defect from PL ..i mean hell i aint gonna lie but that game looks awsome

B* isn't going to be as full scale as PL is right away. After we played it through we'd go back to PL lol. It'll be like a back and forth thing.
