Best PvE Equip?

I will soon be hitting 50 and was curious to see which set I should be aiming for. I was told sent, but is it worth the price difference in the void set?

probably not, when u play a lot u will hit 55 in less than a week and after u will use lvl 55 gear...

Lv 51 gear in the right combinations from Balefort Sewers can be equal to the Lv 50 gear like Void and Sentinel.

how much you willing to spend? void these days is simply cheep, and not that much worse than Sentinel gear. i might think of using void until you find orange/green/purp armor that is better lv51-53 and just save up for the big lv55 sets.

Go with the gun. Jacob's Helmet of the Void, Mega Blaster of the Void, Wraith Armor of the Void. Expect to pay around 150k-200k for the full set. Not to mention, it looks quite nice as well.

I suggest finishing the cyber quests and using the cyber-blaster set! ;) I love quests, but if you don't, use either the Void Megablaster or Sunblessed Bow set. Cheap and effective.

Pure Death Talon Set ^^ Decent in all the stats


I would say Death Set with Talon is the best set in the game for birds all around. Devs weren't kidding when they claimed that Shadow Gear is the best in the game. Even at LVL55, I still run in Sent Death gear and only switch for bosses.

Another set I love that you can get on the cheap (and you don't mind chugging a little mana) is the Drainers Talon and Auto-Bow set. With the Drainers set, you can equip the Drainers cap, talon and leather and since there is no such thing as a Drainers Wing, you can equip an Underlings Wing for the extra 3m/s or a Sentinel Wing of Death for the m/s and better stats all around. You just won't die in that set because your dodge is so high with focus. I use the Drainers Talon set with the 2% Dodge ring in the Shadow Caves and it gives me a Dodge of 58 buffed. I can tank the Shadow Witch with that setup when my teammates wipe. Good stuff.

Lovenus and Morawk u said right... iam still using Death Talon Set for some clearing... The RR (may combined with Sewer King) Talon set is still to squishy and u gain only a bit dmg more. A buffed Death Talon set has stil 250 dmg (with ring) and 50% dogde buffed. When i wear Talon set, defence is for me me over dmg.

I agree with jpgskill cuz I tried void and death in pvp, that owned everybody depending on a good combo...

Death Talon set is indeed one of best bang for the buck. (I still lack the helm OMG!!)

Next bang for the buck is the Sunblessed Void set (which I used a lot until I finished the Cyber void set of quests).

I started with the Sunblessed Void set (Wraith Armor, Overlord Helm, Sunblessed bow).
Then moved to Cyber Set (switching blaster / wing+talon), and now just building my Sentinel Talon set (need the helm).

The raid set is good too! Insane crit! I think I had 289dps and 43 crit buffed. But you need a good tank to keep the boss of your tail, else you are too squishy (low dodge).

So what I do is when I assess that I am in a good group, I change to raid set (level 53 set) for boss fights that require high dps (means you need to kill the fast, like Cockroach hehe)

Death set with Talon & Wing although may still be a little pricey was awesome for me up to 55. The great thing about the new gear is you have so many options you can mix and match to fit your play style. At 55 I still wear the Helmet, decent crit, m/s & armor.
