ARCHERS ARE BEST FULLSTOP!! In pvp for archers, bears can weaken a guy and archers can just fire there bow once and you got yourself an easy kill. ARCHERS ARE BEST, AGREE?? YOU MUST AGREE!!

Mages are self efficient lol, and do the most damage in game. Biggest support role on top of all of that

Bears have a bad rep because of how easy it is for a bad bear to cause a complete wipe out. lol

Same with an archer/mage though, assuming a bad one would just run all over the place and get too much aggro.
A bad bear could either mean that, or bad with his skills which wouldn't really kill the party, just really really really, to the nth degree, annoying.
But yeah I get where you're coming from :)

I agree but I think bad bears probably cause the most spectacular wipe outs (especially at low levels where the players are still unfamiliar with the ways to use their birds or mages). That said bears are fun to play and awesome!!!

No, it is WONDERFUL to play with a good bear! I really enjoy it! That is the problem: birds and mages really LOVE playing with bears, but will never impersonate one! (they simply think a bear life is boring, because bears refuse to die; birds and mage fight on the death edge all time).
P.S. Both my bird and mage are near 55 now; I am wondering to use plat for starting a bear....

well i started a bear but i deleted that char for an archer. they kill SOOOO slow and Imo they suck. no offense but that is my opinion.

Try a DEX bear. You'll see how the edge gets close fast when you hit that "taunt" button.

Try what Stomp said. I find dex bears faster than birds at times ;)

Hummm... have a Lv55 dual skilled (str/int) mage that is a blast to play and a Lv4x pure str bear tank that I'm currently leveling...
One thing I noticed as my bear: it is very hard to stay ahead, aggro'ing and grouping mobs, when my ping is greater than 2xx. And, yes, I'm near worthless for actually damaging anything, LOLz.

After playing every kind of possible char in the game(intbird, dexbird, warbird, pally, intmage, dexmage etc...)
My favorite BY FAR has been intbear. I used to hate bears and now I like them since I made Norestforevil. That said, I cannot stray from my original class so my vote is for archer.

Lol king- now you know how i feel eerytine i play- intbears are sooooooooo much fun to play- they take the gribd out of grind out of grinding.
