New player, pally question.

I just started playing my highest character is a level 26 pure int Mage. My question is would it make sense to switch to a pally now or wait till I get to a higher level. Input please for this helpless noob.

Welcome to the forums, but I concur: Enchantress section. :D

Certainly there's no need to change before the sewers, as you are arguably one of the strongest characters in the game during those levels. FWIW, the pally rage is strong right now, but I'd say try to stay pure INT. I'm doing it in the sewers and the sheer power you bring is very, very nice to have. The notion that you have to switch to pally is false, lots of people leveled thru sewers with them. Just learn to save your drain life spell and learn when to use your heal.

Hey welcome to the community, I recommend that you play the pure int for a while till ya get used to the mage. Once you have the gold and have a better feel, switch to the pally if ya like. I personally would say, stay with the pure int.
