Today I spent a lot of time farming swamp hag... I started getting annoyed because I was getting any pinks and noobs kept joining, so I decided to put a password on. I used 'pink' for the password and that same run I get a pink...from a mob... so I'm like... alright lets try this again then... I do it again and very next run what do you know? I get another pink!
Coincidence?
I think so because the next run I didn't get a pink so I stopped trying lol

Haha yeah I thought I must have discovered something because the first drop came from a mob...
What would pink drop rates be for mobs???

Never heard of mobs dropping pinks.
Was it a re-roll? Possibly from a chest or barrel of some kind?

Nope. It may have been from a chest but I didn't see one... To me it looked like I killed the group of crocs and got a pink...

There is a zombie at the beginning of CTK that drops a pinker...

First one was Jewel Thief's Swampthorn Talon, and second was Swamp Rat's Croc Tooth Sword... not very high selling ones

First I've heard of mummies dropping pinks too. What kind of pinks? From a re-roll maybe?
I just did a run, all the drops I've gotten were green, one purple from the Lorekeeper in that small room.

A purple is like the best you can get but pink from the lorekeeper is possible but its like 1/99999999999 chances you would get one.

I've gotten it twice but I cannot remember what it was. I'm sure it was junk though. No re-roll, just a regular drop.

Thats the same with my brother. He got a sunblessed bow as well but only once.

I don't think I've ever received a pink drop in CA, though I've never really farmed there just quested.

Any mob or chest can drop a pink, it's just extremely likely. For the year I have been playing, i've seen it maybe 5-7 times.

I can't say I have a screenshot, but just a few nights ago, a friend of mine I was leveling in Mega Maze got a pick-axe of legend off a skeleton.
I know some of fellow oldies can back me up on this, where ya'll at?

Ah. Main concern was, let's say your farming in Ao3 - Map 3 (Tpaxx) and a mob gives you a pink, does the possibility of it giving you a Void Armour exist too?

I too have seen pinks drop off occasionally off mob crocs in Swamps.

I'd say not. Since AO (and new swamp pinks) certain items can only be dropped from certain bosses. I would think the loot table for mobs wouldn't be on the same tier of an elite boss.

Nice post btw, agreed about the Big Fool. Having the Pink password is only one of the steps, the second is having doubletime in your group.

does the word pink need to be Pink (with an uppercase) or pink? Will try later but having problems with Big Fool, lag and various aspects of gameplay!!! Am also thinking i've been scammed/hacked and am gonna create a post to to vent my anger in the clearest way possible.... Hope I don't get banned for bad language!!! I'm not sure Big Fool was a good purchase, its been nothing but trouble since I got it...... :(

a guy just told me the key to getting good drops was to make sure to kill the boss as he was attacking and to always be the highest level in the party. I think the key is to wear my ball cap "shark rally" style while I play.
isn't it kinda weird how some of your best pinks come from mobs when u are farming a boss XD
I don't look a gift-horse in the mouth or a gift-mob lol

It is "pink" without a capital. Noob!
