As STS dont done a big event or a locked event for long time price of locks stay minimal(3.5-4 k) So poor players or average players suffer now.As lockeds are cheap few eggs are cheap now to:ribbit,7 k,ethyl loki,shadowlurk,gyrm,grimm.As i think sts should dont make pets event like cats event,birds event or more.In first egg event gyrm was costed 350 kk and i paided for him 2 weeks ago 850 k unfair.U cant merch now in these days.Arcane get cheaper and cheaper,planar runs get boring and boring.Also please look again at t3 is bugged!!.Planar arena just for pro pt,hard find one.

Lots of complaining... Yes it is hard to make gold now a days but that just means go merch/farm more. Arcane Legends is a free to play game in which is indicated with fun, heck i know i have fun on their still. But STS tries their best to make their customers/players happy in which you should be. Please don't complain and just enjoy the game STS has offered to us.

Since when you need lockeds to make money? I indeed spent some plat but it was to level up my toons, to really earn gold you don't need to pop lockeds like crazy. What I did to make my first million it was farming eggs and lockeds until I got a solid amount I know locked prices are really low but keep farming until you get a good amount... next thing go to Elites and farm tooth and buy dragonite bar and sell it, then go to Planar tombs farm and then sell breeze next thing you notice you already have 1M... also if you're experienced with it try to merch like I am doing now I have made 600k just buying mythic, vanities and a whole lot of other items and selling them more expensive, it's all about patience oh and one more thing...don't do arena if you feel it consumes a lot of gold, players spend all their gold buying ankhs and elixs so careful with that.

Maybe you didint understand what he was trying to say .
For many new players there isn't much option to make gold or even make enough to start merching . With lock and egg price down to almost nothing . Endless hours farming for few thousandth gold each day isn't fun . 90% of the population having similar problem . With somany topics on forum about this issue it surprises me you haven't noticed . It's not that there are lazy or looking for easy money . It is really tough to make any profit after endless hours of farming .

What would be the difference between with old and new crate? Unless new crate gives x2 loot . I don't think new crate is the answer . You need to think about most ppl dont have lep they would have to buy luck elx from cs. If the drop is too rare it's not worth farming for . Only option is to make these lock be openable with gold too . Lock price will sky rocket , equal chance to get mythic , arcane gears without plat . You have the option to make profit by selling your lock or testing your luck by opening it yourself Everyone will have fun

I started with 3m (borrowed) after losing my previous account I had to start over and I'm up to 8-9m now of my own. (Excluding the 3m which I gave back)

Soon I can merch arcane eggs (maridos/singe) which is where the real gold starts to come in to play.

I haven't ran a single planar run or arena run this season. Yet i probably made 5x more then all you people running the arena day to day hoping for a recipe.

Living the life, standing on pier chatting while making money ;)
Benefit of merching is, I can use what I merch (bonesaw- I receive offers just standing there and op in pvp)

Hard to stand back not saying anything about the major issues going on for long time . Every couple of months I have to delte friends off my list . They tried worked hard day after day and still nothing to show for it . I still have faith expansion will bring something great for old and new players

Now if you had done that without borrowing 3 mil to start I'd be impressed. Can't really brag when you had that much help to start merching.

Try starting with nothing and farming till you get that 3 mil. That's what most newer people are trying to do now.

It's not like locked are worth 15k each anymore. 3-4k doesn't even make them worth farming anymore.

After i have said.... that it is tough making gold atm... i clearly say that FIRST sentence, but i do understand what he saying. atm im pretty broke myself but im not complaining. Im sure at some point either during the goblin event or elondria event everyone will be happy once again.

In my eyes this is not about people "complaining "or even being "lazy" .. Its all fact .. Anyone who farms as a first example : locked crates - you can farm for hours .. But prices are low .. By the time you buy luck (if used) ,use pots,and feed pet .. Your looking at say adverage price of luck 8000 gold 1000 roughly for lvl 41 pet and then pots .. Over 9000 gold just to farm each time without a lep of course .. You may or may not get lucky and loot .. And if its lockeds you are farming , you need to loot at least three by the time your luck elix runs up which is do-able .. however .. You are just breaking even .

Eggs - you can farm for hours and may or may loot an egg , butttt again I will say for the amount of gold you spend to farm it is hardly worth it now that even egg prices have dropped .

Merching - always able to merch .. But for new players just starting off theres not a whole lot of options to make enough gold to start merching to begin with .

Cs buy and resell - where are prices are low its a good time to hoard .. Although where we have watched almost everything drop already its a very chancy risk to buy and re sell now .

For the buddy up there ^ like you stated you borrowed 3 mill to start your merching and have been doing well .. Big grats to you that you can still make gold and were fortunate enough to have someone lend you the 3 mill to start off .
As for new players who really are they going to ask to borrow 3 mill from ? How do they start ?

I find this issue is getting worse with time .. We are seeing more of those people that we love to hate ... "Beggers" annoying yes .. But sadly i cant blame them for asking with the way things are now lol .
New players are only going to make it so far unless they are plat buyers , can borrow or have some crazy way of making gold that i dont know about .

Im not saying i dont make gold , but i am saying its not easy .

To limit supply, there has to be reliance on some sort of luck or of course limiting new farming to certain levels like tombs. Many breeze eggs were sold to people that choose not to play at end game. Events are really the best bet. If/when locked crates get a loot table revision, I'm sure they will rise in price. There just isn't that much in locked crates that is compelling us to open them. The longer items stay in game, the more people have them and consequently the lower the price becomes. I think the jewel system will also be great for farmers when it is introduced as well.

Wow really "borrowed"? And do you think someone will lend 3M to another person? Lol people now don't even have gold to lend that's the problem you say "be lazy and merch" well not everyone has a starting amount to do so...
Not to be mean but I am surprised that you're proud, ofc merch needs skill but I value a player according with the effort that he makes, not by standing in a town chatting and earn millions besides it's boring and takes the fun out of the game... [emoji19]

This expansion is make or break I feel
This. A lot is on the line for the execution of the expansion. This expansion needs to really mean something to get people back up on their feet and playing again. Just the simple release of new maps, new gear, and ofc new level just like the previous expansions aren't going to save AL. STS really needs to hit the ball out of the park with Ren'Gol and introduce something extraordinarily cool that we've never seen before. The future of AL rests with the expansion, it could mean the end, or the beginning, and I'm making preparations for the former...
