You can now enter any chapter dungeon of the campaign if you own the campaign. Previously you had to play the dungeons in order to unlock them.

It benefits new players who are unable to find a game because the ones people are playing are locked to them.

Ultimately, not a big deal. It's probably most helpful in AO3 and BS where most of the runs these days do not fully compmlete a map.

Nothing has changed....you still had to pay for the dungeons. You just don't have to play them in order now to unlock them.

yea i feel that that is part of the devs' feeling on how you should be able to play it no matter what if you payed for it.

Question to above, how does this increase the number of noobs? You still have to get the same amount of xp.. by killing the similar (most exact same) mobs. And what do you gain from only playing one of the maps?
1. People get curious...
2. If you dont get curious, than you have knowledge ahead of time of whats in the skipped dungeon.
3. Quests... people still have to return there if they want to finish quests.

Are there really any quests that have to be completed in a specific map? I think they can all be done in VL. So VL used to be for people who made it through all the levels and want to farm quickly. Now people can just skip all and go straight to VL. So who will ever even step foot in the other maps (other than maybe to PICK UP or TURN IN a quest).

Ah well, like I said -- glad I experienced AO3 during its best days.

I have to say I'm quite disappointed with this update. It was nice to know that if I wanted to make a VL run, that I would be there with people who knew the score. I had to complete at least a few maps solo after the team left when the boss went down, but that's all over now.

I understand why this change was made, but just paying for something shouldn't give an all access pass. The game should have some aspects that need to be earned.

Agreed with gluttony. I don't like this patch at all. I remembered How hard was completing this ends now map and how accomplished i felt when i gained access to vl. Personally +1 fail point from me :(

Uhm i can understand the people who are complaining about ppl jumping right to the last level! However, i never found a good group to finish "this ends now", therefore i just skipped that map. I'm now 56 and i've never been able to join a vl game and that blows lol...

Actually the patch isn't working for me, i'm still not able to join victory lab!

You still need to purchase the dungeon.

Before this update, dungeon maps were locked until you finished them in order. (Map 2 was locked until you finished map 1, map 3 was locked until you finished map 2, etc).

Now, even if you haven't finished the required maps, you can play any of the maps in the dungeon.
