1. What does the "Boot" button do?
2. How can you message someone if you cannot see them?
3. Do senior members get free gold and platinum? (someone told me they did)
4. Can someone help me with the Elite Frost quests?
5. What does this mean: "Go to ranger now"?

Hello, and welcome to the community:)
1) The boot button is only available for the host of the game, he can use that boot button to kick a player from his game. Simply click on the boot button, and type in the specified reason.
2) Type "/t (name) (message)" to tell someone a message. To reply, make it easier for yourself and type "/r (message)"
3) Nope, senior member simply means you have over 100 posts. There aren't any bonuses to it passed having the forum title.
4) Im currently not doing them, haven't yet, soooooo many pelts >_>
5) Ranger? Uhmm, only rangers I know are the rangers outside of the wyldwood by commander black hawk. Simply go to fort blackstone, go straight ahead, take your first right into the forest, then take your first left, towards the end of the path in front of the portal should be commander black hawk and his rangers. If that's not it, I'm not sure.

Ping is the time it takes for data to be sent to and received from the server.
The higher the ping, the more lag you will experience, and vice versa.
STS' goal has always been at around 500 (half a second) to be playable.
