Best use of Platinum for a New Player

I've searched all over the internet and can't seem to find a good answer to this question: what is the best use for Platinum for a new player? I have a lvl 20 Paladin and about 80 Platinum right now. I already bought 10 extra auction slots, a ring, and extra character slot and one of the Magic Mirror skins that grants stats. Any other suggestions?

Another newb question: are there rewards for PvP? I talked to a PvP NPC in one of the towns and he said there wasn't. Was that just a practice area or something?

and yes, the npc's are useless they talk crap.

ive been a pl player for 3+ years and i still have no idea what their purpose is.

World building? Haha! I'm mostly interested in the PvE aspect of the game. I like tanking, which is why I chose a Rhino, and I'm just trying to figure out how best to use the lease renewable resource (Plat). Is there anything in the game like maps to open up that aren't PvP related? Anything that Plat can get that adds to the experience, other than just buying gear and elixirs?

elixirs would be your best bet. there are tons of maps to level on too... duh....

If you wanna pvp, save it for gear possibly, if you wanna pve use it for elixirs.

okay capping cost me 800 plat.. and its hard to get even 80plat in this game.. i wouldnt worry about capping until its close at hand.. I would focus on leveling to at least 50+ and get yourself a good set.. save your plat man.. save it.

definitely spend your plat on many character slots!! there is no sense in buying things like elixirs...once you have many characters and take daily blessings on all of them, you will get 3x combo elixir for 24h in short time...then just level the character with this elixir

I always thought more inventory slots on the character you play the most and like since the ring is basically an extra item add on you can buy only with plat.

Ok people stop telling him to PvP. He already said he's not interested in that part of the game, so give advice on what he needs.

To be perfectly honest, I agree partially with those who are telling you to save plat and buy extra character slots. That is good if you are eventually going to want to have different toons (i.e. mage, bear, fox, additional rhino, dedicated scaled farming toons, etc.). One thing you should know about rhino is that it is going to eat mana like candy until you get a bit higher level. So many people quit the game early on because they start as a fox or a rhino, which are two of the most difficult characters to learn, as they require patience and really play-time to finally "get." Don't let it discourage you from keeping on with Pocket Legends. I have a capped rhino with an excellent KDR, so it IS possible. It was my second toon, after I capped my first mage. If you get discouraged from rhino, buy that extra character slot and try a mage. They are, by far (in just my opinion), the easiest class to learn and level quickly. Having said that, elixirs are kind of important too, once you really get serious about capping a toon or farming good items, since daily blessings don't always give you combos. Having a broader selection of toons also gives you a better chance of getting a combo from your daily blessings. I never use plat on elixirs for leveling until I reach around the Level 60 mark, because before that, it is just too easy to level (levels there require less XP) and I don't waste my plat on that. Something to think about later on is purchasing the Big Luck vanity from the plat store, which is available only on or around the 4th of each month. That vanity gives you a bit of extra luck and chance to re-roll for good loot when farming. It is usually best when worn with a combo elixir since they have extra luck as well (whether from daily blessings or bought from the plat store). One last thing...if you are in a guild, check the guild hall. You can buy elixirs for a few plat cheaper than what the plat store sells them.
