Why does my mage scream?

Sometimes, when playing with my mage, she makes this screaming noise. I know it's a proc with the gemstone wand or weakness/hellscream.

What else can trigger this?

I'm asking because, when I respected to pally recently, I noticed my mage was still screaming when doing solo runs. So no gemstone wand there. I didn't see the 'shadow faces' animation, I just heard the scream. I was using a fortified set by the way.

I'm sorry if this has already been answered somewhere, but I couldn't find it anywhere. So, anybody who can enlighten me? And please don't say 'because she's hurt' or something :)

I think you hear sometimes from the skill Nightmare. I'm not 100% sure tho.

Seriously, Nightmare should do it. If it's not you, probably mob? I know Catspaw casts one.

I hear mine too, but it's usually because of proc or Nightmare.

maybe just an enchantress anemy i keep hearing em in sewers and go oh no mage has died oh wait its just a mob

Lol guys... The mage isn't screaming, it's just the skill nightmare or the terror combo.

Yor debfs make the sound. All types of debufs both wand and nightmare (sometimes weakness too but rare)

They also make noises when getting hurt. I came hear to post something funny but I better not cause im tempted to put something borderline bannable.
