where do they spawn the most? I will soon have the relic but the event will also end soon so I want to optimize my time.

Anywhere where there a lot of mobs. WT4, KT4, KM3 are very good

This is strictly lvl dependant... If u are low lvl its wt3... After lvl 16 stick to wt4. Pull the biggest mob your group can handle. Keep in mind these Altars are rare drops. To increase your chances only run in groups of 4. This increases your chances by 4x. But just be warned. These are Rare and random. I find that if I farm for altars I get about 4 an hour. But I have run into 10 altars in 1hr.
