Along with an exciting new world to explore, the Rage of the Ren'gol expansion also comes with some exciting new changes to gear and inventory UI!

Introducing... BELTS!

In this expansion you will gain an extra gear slot for a belt, which will be available through the new expansion content and available to equip at level 40+. Thanks to this new gear slot, your inventory has also been reorganized to include separate tabs for Equipment and Vanities. Nice!

For now, belts will not offer any aesthetic changes (they don't make your character look any different), but will simply add extra stats to your character. This will be really helpful against those newer, tougher enemies you'll encounter soon.

I don't think that gear that remi has is going to be the best in the game, say a better mythic wep and the new mythic ring and amulet will be better stats then the one she has now, but who know that could be the best gear in AL until better mythic/arcane items come out :)

pls dev:
1. grouped items UI :D, ability to liquidate all/liquidate some, but no need for open all/use all
-- if it is equipment, also grouped by gems :D
-- ability to remove/delete all/some
-- especially for consumables!, chests, lixes, materials
2. inventory scroll bar!
-- quick travel for inventory, especially if you decide not to group items.... :(
3. lock item! and clean all -> liquidate all unlocked items
-- grouped items separated between locked and unlocked ones
-- we can choose to lock all/unlock all or lock 1 / unlock 1
-- probably clickable toggle icon beside the item's name in inventory?
4. new trade limit (currently only 4 T_T) and also grouped!

Looks awesome! But shouldn't these belts offer extra inventory space? Scaled of course, like top tier legendary belts offer an extra 25 inventory slots? 5slots for 41, 10 for level 42, so on and so fourth. I think it will add more value to these. Or maybe have an upgrade to belts that can be bought with plat? Such
As "upgrade your belt with 50 inventory slots for 25 plat" thus increasing past the current limit of 250 inventory slots. (Of course, the upgrade would work for all belts and it should be bound to the account which bought it.)

I'm grateful to see postive progress on the UI, but both craft and chest UI are in desperate need of a makeover. There's zero organization in those categories and coming jewel system will only make it more difficult to scroll through endless lists of stuff to find what you're looking for. Please separate the chests and elixirs!

I do not think we can assume that just yet (although my guess is that Rendtail's ring will still be better). Why? Remiem is still wearing a Fang of Fenrir (unless the L31 & L46 amulet have the same particle effects).

Good idea giving belts visual effect.
I like and hope this: Give legendary and mythic belts a visual effect. (Like archon legendary and bloody ring mythic).
The legendary belt can have green or blue color.
The mythic belt can have red-yellow or orange color.
So you good a colored-stats giving belt :)

Jewels Overview
Moving onto Jewels, they have several similar qualities to Gems. Jewels are crafted, tradeable, and can be used to upgrade gear with additional stats.

The Jewels system also has many differences from Gems though.
Jewels have levels, 8 in total, represented by prefixes such as "Weak", "Fortified", or "Excellent". These levels determine how much of a stat they give. You can increase a Jewel's level via crafting by combining it with 2 other Jewels of the same level and type, along with some gold. For example, if you craft together three Standard Mind Jewels, you'll get one Fortified Mind Jewel.
Essences will no longer drop from mobs. Instead, Cracked Jewels will now drop from mobs. These are immediately available to use for upgrading gear. Not all types of Jewels drop in all locations though. You'll have to explore to find which Jewels drop where. Any essences you currently have can be used to craft these Cracked Jewels as well.
Jewels can not "crit". You no longer have to upgrade your gear over and over hoping for a "Grand" version. Jewels will always give the same amount of a stat.
Jewels have item level requirements. In order to upgrade a piece of gear with a Jewel, the gear must have at least a certain required level. For example, Excellent Jewels can only upgrade gear that requires character level 20 and higher.
Many more stats are now available with Jewels! There will be 8 types of Jewels available when the feature launches. In addition to the STR, DEX, and INT stats you are all used to, you can now also upgrade your gear with Jewels which grant Armor, Crit, Damage, HP, or Mana.
Jewels can be removed from gear for a gold cost. This will allow you to use that removed Jewel as part of a craft to create a better Jewel.

I like this belt idea. New thing to farm, upgrade etc.
I assume there will be new section in Auction Hall as well.
This new section also focus the question about inventory / stash size.
Inventory of 500 is more-or-less OK especially if we cannot group items (now different types of Lockeds, gems, energy kits, etc)
BUT 250 space as stash slot seems a bit low. I feel that 500 stash slot would be sufficient.
What do you think?

What's the idea of adding belt to the game? Only for the tabs feature that helps us to distinguish vanity and gear better? That's not enough if u r stayinh on this stage. Imagine how hard ppl scroll down the inventory when there is hundreds of items. Make same items stackable no matter whether they are tradeable or not. PLS
