I hate to make a whole new topic for such I tiny question, but here it is:
Will it always be free to respec skill points from now on or is that just temporary?

Just for about 2 more weeks, they only did that because people need more getting used to GCD

Only actual Skill points should be free, not attribute points. I speak only for IOS; No clue about Droid
Actually this has been fixed. It was due to the fact that a had 0 platinum thanks :) devs

What is the actual reason for the free respec? Why would you want to change your skills because of the GCD? Am I missing something here lol?

Because some of your skills (or the way you use them) are directly affected by the GCD. For example I would taunt/pull/stomp with my bow bear... Now to do the same thing in the same place (AO3 starting corridor near the 90 degrees bend) I will run past the optimal point to get the mobs stomped in the corner or have to stop running. Therefore I do not use taunt anymore... actually the GCD makes taunt completely useless for my bow bear because he is pure dex and it's just not good to have a mob around you when you have to wait in between skills. I am sure other skills are affected in similar fashion.
They gave us the free respect period so we can optimize within the new confines of the game.

Just a thought but, If some need to respec their skill might they also need to change their skill points?
