What does the "fix" to Shadow Piercer's Rising Death do?

From the latest patch notes:

Shadow Piercer’s “Rising Death” initial impact damage is now on par with un-upgraded Shadow Piercer

What does this actually mean?

it mean that now with RISING DEATH upgrade it does more damage xD.

before shadow pierce initial damage say for example does 1000 and if you upgrade rising death it does 800+40+40+40 which was less then just having shadow pierce.

so now shadow pierce does 1000+40+40+40 with rising death.
