anyone else having issues with game randomly quitting???

I have an atrix 4g....and have always had issues with the Dpad (stop working until I stop touching the screen for it to reset), camera angle (seems to sometime jump 180 deg making me run backwards) and game randomly quitting.

I stopped playing for about a month because of the Dpad. I just reinstalled and while the control is still not perfect it does seem better (good enough to keep playing). The random quitting is not as bad but still there.

I don't think it is a heat issue as I play Dungeon Defenders for hours on end without issue, PL does seem to get hotter than DD (batt temp is around 100 DD and 111 PL)

anyone else having these issues?? any other atrix users want an HD version???

I have the virtual joystick issue as well, but firing off a quick emote usually fixes it. It's almost like you hit a wall and your toon refuses to keep going.

The camera thing I used to get, but haven't noticed it since I disabled the "touch to move."

Haven't had a single crash yet on the new client. Haven't noticed the random sound bug yet either.

I am using an Atrix 4g as well, and have been having the game randomly drop me to my home screen. I am not getting a force close error message it is just gone. It doesn't appear to be over heating either as I play Dungeon Defenders too and have never had that game quit out on me. I hope someone has a work around for this, it's pretty annoying

I experience some strange behavior on my Nexus S (similar, but not as sever, as described), but no such issues on the Galaxy tab or Xoom...

You might check to see what else is running, how frequently your email syncs, and any other scheduled background activity.

i suspect that since the atrix is a next gen, the hardware may have some issues with a game coded for older phones. specifically, the dual core ARM proc. u should have gingerbread on that phone...if not, upgrade it.

I'm also experiencing the random quitting issue on my Samsung Galaxy S2. Running 2.3.3

It does happen once in a while (quite rare though).
I will try to remember and post a logcat the next time I encounter this issue.

Make sure to shut down any background applications.
