I just posted a thread about me taking a break from PL for a few months. is that bad? cause a few minutes after i made the thread, it was deleted.

Devs here generally do not like "taking a break" or "I'm quitting" threads. You can just tell your friends in-game and they'll spread the word there if anyone asks where you went.

We don't generally keep threads like these on the forums....

I saw a post on facebook one day, and they were completely fine with it. they even said to come back whenever hes ready to.

The forums are a lot different than the Facebook page, especially in terms of "GCD SUCKS" and "I QUIT" posts - I'm guessing threads are weighed a lot more heavily. They can always ban someone from a thread, but they can't really make a user "unlike" their Facebook page. Also, the Facebook page is a lot more dynamic than the forums so "I quit" posts are usually buried really quickly under more recent posts.

Actually, I believe they can (and have) removed people from their Facebook page.

Yeah you're right Les - I just tried to remove some people from a group I am admin of, and they even have a checkbox for Ban Permanently :D
