View Full Version : [Suggestion] Change gale's forward dash to slow+push/pull immunity

as title said, currently mage's forward dash is lacking control and doesn't work well with the other upgrade

i'm proposing to change the dash forward with around 2s of slow and push/pull immunity, with this:
1. mage can still run at maximum speed at ctf in 2 seconds, not too long, but still can compensate dash forward and quite comparable to rogue's and warrior's jump skill
2. works well in fight where you don't want to jump unnecessarily
3. works well with other upgrade (e.g. armor), since you don't want to jump into crowd even though with increased armor
4. works well with AoE upgrade, currently we push enemies forward and we also move to the enemies, which is not so preferred for mage with the lowest survivability (except you're overgeared)

also if possible i'd like to suggest to make gale's push to still working even though with enemies already knocked back by fireball's to make gale skill unique, not just a replacement of fireball with same knockback effect, and also please make non-circle-aoe gale always point forward like how clock/smoke is dropped and improve the range, probably instead of cone, a large line like most boss' dash forward red zone, with wider line (it has 6 max target anyway, so why don't be generous)

P.S.: probably warrior's chest splitter will be more accurate with this scheme, with wider line, almost making it a half-circle, not a longer cone...

This dash should never have been applied to mage instead of it should be added on Warriors Chest Splitter...there the dash was perfect due to its shortage of Range.
