View Full Version : int=50% / dex=25% / str=25% mage. Should I just concentrate on int?

Unfortunately I stumbled on this forums very late, I'm a casual gamer, who just go play for the heck of it, but when I read some threads, it looks like I'm doing the wrong thing on my attributes. I currently am a LVL 40 mage and I have my attributes distributed at 50% int / 25% dex / 25% str. Should I leave the other attributes alone?

Thanks for your time in answering...

Ya I'd go pure int if I were you. Don't even worry about str or dex. Especially if you want to be the type of Mage that concentrates on just the spells.

I am L31, and I was building 40%/60% Str/Int. I respec'ed for Pure Int today, and I am much deadlier (and well more easily dead). It seems to be faster and more fun as a INT mage. The heal is much better too.

Its relatively inexpensive as well at 2 plat. Thats about $0.25.

Full int. At higher levels do 35 dex at least for the 100% hit

My mage is 45 dex, the rest int. My hit sits at a little over 100, and my spells all do ridiculous damage. The only problem with it its that you will be squishy, its easy to die as a full int ( or in my case, almost full int lol) mage. Because of the amount of damage it does, its also easy to pull aggro, especially on bosses, so be careful.
