I found a new proc in Gemstone Staffs O.o SPOILER ALERT

Conclusion:
The buff/proc from the gemstone staff adds 32 armor fOr 12 secs.

I used the staff to buff/proc^^
Whats unsual about the armor, 172 is like using almost top gear str with shield:p

Interesting... You buff up with staff and switch to wand...? Not sure if that affects buffs, same armor and crit should be given.

As one of the few int-birds I still dont understand. Even if the staff boosts the BOV, your picture still only has a wand...

Lol you guys... Gemstone staff has more skill damage than a wand/bracer setup, so using BOV while holding a staff will buff you more than if you're using a wand. So switching to the wand after bov with a staff will give you a higher buff. I'm sure using the mana shield along with bov would increase it even more.

I don't think so... The buffs and debuffs increase by specific amounts each level, as far as I have seen. No matter what gear and setup and build, I always get the same armor and crit as far as I can tell.

My guess is that a Mage buffed him while he was using staff and somehow it gave him a higher armor bonus. Then he switched back to wand.

No mage buffed me, no ring and even if they did buff me, i would only get like 2 armor:/

32 armor for 12 secs. BoV lvl 5. Interesting buff. Did you have to attack to activate it? I wonder if it stacks on a mage.

It activates upon normal attacks. Im not sure how often but I've seen this happen to my bird like over 20 times already so its NOT a glitch

That was for "show"
I used evasion and ring so about 14 extra armor plus wand (10 armor) and bracer
