If you have both Nekro and nightshade pet. Can you please explain why Nightshade with 30% Damage elixir give less damage then Nekro with 30% elixir and Nightshade give more damage WITHOUT elixir while nekro give less damage WITHOUT elixir.
for example nightshade with elixir your damage is 1000 and no elixir it is 900
for nekro with elixir your damage is 1100 and with no elixir it's at 800. lol.

When you're using Elixir, the 30% overrides the pet dmg buff so all that matters is the primary and secondary stats.
35 dex and 15 int for nightshade,
40 dex and 15 int for sns,
40 dex and 10 int for nekro,
42 dex and 12 int for singe.
Singe ftw.

With elixir in your case, nightshade gets 13% more dmg increase when considering its stats. Nekro gains 15% more dmg considering its larger amount of stat boosts as well.
Lets say there was a pet that gave 25% dmg and 10 primary stat. Pet a.
Then there was a pet that gave 5% dmg and 25 primary stat. Pet b.
And lets say pet a gave more dmg without elixir.
With elixir on both, pet a would be 30% dmg 10 primary stat. Pet b would be 30% dmg 25 primary stat. Pet b would be stronger with elixir.

passive quickness give 5% damage right? if so yes it's the same application. If you have a pet with 5-10% damage it's useless.

If you mean the speed, then here is why the speed is useless:
1. Speed buffs are removed the second you are hit with a speed debuff. On top of removing existing speed buff, it also debuffs you the percent debuff.
2. Quickness does not stack w/ other percent speed buffs. So, for example, the speed bonus from Abaddon will not stack with the speed bonus from passive skill Quickness.
