I've seen alot of rage about the auto level thing recently, and I agree with some of it, however other parts I do not.
I think for the auto-level 41 that sts should adjust how much plat you pay based off of how much experience you have to go. This would help the players who don't enjoy investing in platinum and or don't already have an endgame character. Although this wouldn't make a very large difference for the current endgamers, I don't see why this is a problem in the first place, just ignore the people who you don't want to play with. Just pt with your guild.
