i just bought Courage so i could get the Xp boost But, Do i have to be using it to get the extra Xp? because I don't really care for courage or his AA

ull have the bonus xp with any pet summoned

yeah you don't need courage equipped to get xp bonus. look in your elixir status you'll see permanent 15% xp buff there :)
