Just did Vyxnaar runs at least ten times and, I kid you not, not ONE drop from him! What is up with that?!?!

I've seen three already in about 5-6 runs. But nothing dropped to me -- nada, zip, zilch. I think im just cursed when it comes to all Vyxes :p

But u at least saw drops. Same group of five and the only drops we got were from shadows.

I think it really depends on luck. I got a vyx within my 1st few runs.. and in one of the runs 4 pinks at one go. We were like 'wow'.

There hasn't been an update, so they couldn't have.

I still think it's very common. I hunted the old vyx for hours and hours and only saw ONE helm drop, not to me. Then in just 5-6 runs, I saw 3 drop from the shadow vyx. This thing was supposed to be RARE.

I think it will get nerfed in a few days. They did the same thing when the Shadow Caves were originally released. Flood the market, drop the prices, then make it more of a rarity. It's the enticement factor to get people in there playing again. I hope to farm a couple more and hold on to them until they are seen as rare again. May or may not happen, but I would rather have a few in my pocket just in case.

I rarely ever did shadow caves before because they weren't cost effective...
So a friend tells me today the vyx helm dropping more often, so I give it a try...
First time I ever killed vyx he dropped helm... Usually I'm sooo unlucky (can't buy a BS pink) but today was my lucky day I guess....
Shame it ain't worth as much now... There were heaps for sale in CS....

Neo -- I think our group just had a run of bad luck. I went back to farming after a break and the drops were coming again. Just one of those unlucky times I guess.

Someone said last night in game that there was a glitch that affected whether he drops anything or not. It had something to do with the shadow D'Jinn in the room with him. It could most likely just be a rumor though.

in a group i was in about 30 mins ago we killed him and i got death helmet one person got vyxnarr helm of hate and another got keepers helmet of shadows. pretty good luck id say :)

It's a different helm. The other shadow helms do drop off of him too. I have a ton of the sentinel and guardian ones.

Some things I noticed:

It turns elves' hair white. I like it.
But.. It has only 1 extra armor than the regular hate helm -- otherwise it has exactly the same stats, but no bonus :(
