Hi everyone,

I just wanted to reassure everyone that the team is looking (and working) on improving Elixirs. If you missed asommers mention in a thread (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?23896-1.7.1-Content-Update-%2857237%29&p=266545#post266545), here it is again:


We are also discussing what to do about elixirs and are considering having some (but not all) elixirs available for gold.

Just wanted to make sure you all saw that :)

We complained about GCD.
The CD has been reduced, time-to-complete certain combos have been extended, certain bosses have been nerfed, and mega combos have been added to improve overall party DPS.

We complained about power-levelers and how their lack of skill ruins our PUG experiences.
A minimum level to join campaign games have been implemented.

We complained about the Shadow Caves being too hard and Vyx not spawning there.
Mobs have reduced armor and Vyx now spawns at a high rate.

We (Droiders) complained about the Founders Helm being unavailable to us because it wasn't released on the Droid platform until 7 months after the iOS platform release.
Now a majority of Droiders, as well as iOS users who missed out on the previous cut-off date, can enjoy the hat.

We complained about elixirs only being available for Platinum.
The team is currently improving Elixir usage and even considering bringing them back for gold.

With all the complaining going on about ridiculous things like free shields and predictions that GCD has caused a black hole to open in the middle of Arterra and destroyz the PL Universe, ppl forget that even though there still may be work to be done, at least they listen and attempt to find a medium, unlike many other games that say "too bad, suck it".

Yes, even I have to admit that I complained on a few of those issues. Really, if I were in the devs shoes I'd take a look at these complaining threads, go "lulz" and ignore them all completely. It's amazing how they have infinite patience with us. Players and devs will never be in 100% agreement in regards to all things, but its mind-blowing the amount of tailoring they do to appease us. You will never see this in any other game. We complain here because we know the devs listen. If you had a problem in any other game, your complaint would be received by no one.

Oh, and to those who complained about purchasing campaigns before they became free, campaigns aren't free forever:


New and existing players will get full access to Balefort Castle, Fathom Crypts, The Lost Expedition, The Ancient Swamps, Balefort Sewers, and The Alien Oasis Trilogy which will allow characters to progress to the end of the game for free. These adventure areas will remain free until Monday, May 4, 2011.

Plz at least make the XP Elixirs cost gold, its rlly hard to get to lvl 43

Once camps are free, will the min lvl requirement still exist? If so, I will be very unhappy. If so, oh well, at least plat is cheap.

Now I'm wondering, will XP pots be available for gold? If so should I be working on my baby ratioer and wait to get to 56, or just grind up there?

FWIW, I know it seems like I've been complaining, too, but I reassure you that every obstacle they've thrown in lately just makes it a more compelling game. The key is to never confuse having accomplishments(meh. Boring. & trust me no one outside our little circle cares) with trying to get them (--THE WHOLE POINT OF THE GAME--).

They even changed my Mystery helm to str, who else would do that just for 1 guy???

I spend 300k only for lucky pods.
Wasted. Never rerolled a pink.:mad:

100 plats i already spend for other pods. 1 or 2 times a month for celebrate PL a mixed pod is ok for me. I want to sponsor PL and i hope there will be More more more addons and patches. :o

I hope the melee and tank cost gold. The elixirs really should cost platinum but maybe try like x2 experience for a certain amount of mob kills like say 150 mob in stronghold so 1000 kills x2 experience. Giving a time limit or game limit would seem like a lot of problems, people leave, slow team etc. Mainly because people leave if someone uses an experience elixir back when they coated gold I could only imagine all the jealous people now who'd leave. People were booting over a dumb luck hat now can you tell me you can't see people booting someone who uses an exp elixir. Its sad really but it is the truth and I have seem it many many times.
