Ming-Chi Kuo's final titbit of info is that the device will begin mass production in September.

Kuo, who's purportedly been speaking to sources in Apple's supply chain, has been spot-on with such predictions in the past.

If he's right, there's no hope of a traditional June launch. Which makes sense in light of the rumour that Apple is yet to order all of the iPhone 5's components.

Bit irked, would have preferred it came out in June. But there's reports that iPhone 6 could be in early-mid 2012 and THAT will be a substantial hardware change... so it's kinda tricky considering now. Depends on what iOS 5 has in store (find out in June). Tricky! Still using my oldee 2.5G iPhone!

yea i guessed the 5 would be like a 3gs. if 5.0 is good then im just keeping my iphone4 and upgrading for the 6.
