I like high damage, where I can run through plasma pyramid and just destroy everything =) but I don't know if I'm getting more dmg with dex or if I'd be better off with int

Pure INT is the "Nuking Mage". It gets massive splash/area/aoe damage..

Dexchantress is most likely for high base damage.. It won't get the massive splash/area/aoe damage..

Both Mage and Archer delivers big DPS: mage is more oriented to AoE, birds to single target. A dex mage combines both, single target from weapons and AoE from skills. Going pure int will give you much more effective AoE, so Plasma (or CTK) runs should be easier.

Maybe I should stick it out with my pure dex mage then? Higher lvl bosses would be easier to kill...

I don't recommend buying Cosmos. Level up to 53 in Crush The Keeper (faster than Balefort Sewers), then buy some level 53 int gear. Once you hit 55 in the Sewers, it's up to you if you want to be dex or int. If you mainly want to pve and do high damage all at once, go with int. If you pvp a lot, dex will be the way to go, dexchantress's are arguably the best pvp class in the game at the moment.

ive seen some dex mages, i find it strange to go to dex but is it working ?
i like pally a lot, perhaps try out a dex mage myself

Leveling will certainly be easier with an int mage, because you won't have to worry about mana, but if you don't want to spend the 2 plat, stay a dex mage. If you turn int and don't plan on pvping that much at 55, then you might want to stay int.
