The only time anyone has ever asked for an increase in the gold cap before was at the height of the plat farming epidemic.

Since there is no legitimate way to get that much (200 million? Seriously) gold with the current economy, this thread is highly suspect.

3,390 plat i have gotten which 2,550 i bought rest are offers . so you pathetic people can stop calling me plat farmer cause i dont waste my time downloading games :) , my suggestion is increase gold cap 200m , i have 99,999,999 inv stash but if i want to sell something i do it through my alt because i cant get no more money then 99,999,999 dont you guys think? or you just try to blame people on forums so you can get green bars?

If you have that much plat, why not create another character instead of having an alternate account, which may or may not be against the TOS.

I don't know why you'd want to call attention to yourself when you undoubtedly (maybe inadvertently) farmed some amount of plat.

The gold limit is 100m for your character and 100m for stash, so it actually is 200m already. That's not even counting the 100m allowed on each alt. I have trouble believing this isn't enough, when the most expensive item in game is currently under 50m.

The OP said he/she looted a shard when it was in the 80mils, but never talked about looting anything else worthwhile. So thats 80/200mil. You do know its like 50 plat or something to make an alt right? Also this economy is so bad atm how you gonna go from 80mil(assuming the op never spent that gold) to 200m+ in this economy where prices crash everywhere. 3.3k plat is not so large of a history compared to others. Doesnt it even make you wonder? You would need to loot 3-4 fossils from arena back when they were 35-40m to be at 200mil+, probably double or triple the amount considering the price they are now

Not reading all of this so sorry if was already mentioned. The gold cap was an issue in the past because of some items that exceeded the cap and you were buying from someone you didn't know. For example my ring was 120m and I would have been nervous had I not known the seller.

However with the plat farming reduced and prices evened out the gold cap isnt a huge issue anymore. I'd rather sts focus on more pertinent issues than this.
