Lightning - Tindirin, Shuyal, Rengol, Underhul
Chaos - Ren'gol Crates, Rengol, Underhul
Diamond - Kraken Mines/Isles, Tindirin, Shuyal, Rengol, Nordr, Underhul
Nature - Almost everywhere except Tindirin and up
Water - Almost everywhere except Tindirin an up

Overall it seems like:

Season 1 Brackenridge Zones = Water, Nature
Season 2 Dead City = Water, Nature
Season 3 Kraken Isles = Water, Nature, Diamond
Season 4 Nordr = Water, Nature, Diamond
Season 5 Shuyal = All jewels except Chaos
Season 6 Tindirin and up = All jewels except water and nature
Kraken Mines = Diamond, Water, Nature
Kraken Tombs = Water, Nature
Watchers Tombs = Water, Nature

Extra info --

Estimated gold-only values of the jewels. So if you see a jewel less than that price, it may be better to buy it rather than craft your own. Or if you want to craft your own jewel, make sure you've set aside enough gold.

I've found nearly all of those gems (except Chaos) in kraken mines 3.

Chaos from locked chest of ren'gol. Asked the people selling them in auction and both of them got theirs from the lockeds.

Swell, now gems come from locks.

Thought finesse was a tier of the jewels, was scrambling to see if we could skip having to collect cracked gems...lol

I did some elite wilds and came across finesse and fury and all the other jewels, but didnt see any choas. They may be exclusive to rengol maps (normal/elite).

Ravager, ive been every kind of jewel. Let me tell u the lightning jewel drops


Tindirin (any map)
shuyal (high chance in ashral tower)

more confirmation required. Im still hunting more locations, PM me anytime if u wanna hunt with me for lightning jewels. Ive run several times (wiped every zone in shuyal and tindirin, entirely wiped) in tindirin and shuyal. I would lightning jewels have a chance of at least 1/2, 1/2 is an average one out of the mere 50 runs. Its a loose estimation, perhaps the 1/2 chance may not apply to everyone. Usually they have a 50% chance to drop per run (meaning eliminating every single mob from the map even the boss). Sometimes the drops were like 25%. I would say these chances are OK.

Ill post the refernece in 5mins. LMK if u want to join me to confirm it here...

Sorry to divert a little from the core purpose of this thread but there are two major issues that STS needs to address urgently:

2. The inventory space this tiered system of jewels is taking up.

1. The cost of crafting each jewel is crazy. How will people be able to afford this???

Well, I levelled one toon to 46 and one to 44 in km3 and wt4 and did not get a single finesse jewel. Got one while doing the 2 dailies in the new maps, but also 4 chaos in that time. All in all the result of the whole discussion during the test server was, in my opinion, that the drop rate of the main stat jewels was nerfed severely, whilst the drop rate of the rest stayed the same. Considering that all gems except the main stat ones are pretty much useless in endgame, the situation is not the best to say the least. Sigh

P.S. I refrain from thinking about any comparison with the para/eye gems. Once the proper gear starts coming out (the lvl 43 mythics are not it) and the few get gemmed out with eyes and paras the discontent of the many will reach a new peak ;)

Woe, thank you. But for Fury, I have been in those places and nada... Why STS, why you placed drop rate so low for these main jewels when essences won't even drop?
