level 50 sets

im almost at level 50 and looking for a new set for my bear. i like higher dps, price isnt an issue just wanna know some ideas. so help plz =) lol

He's right, but whenever you want to switch to having more defense use Rift set

Yup, if dps is your goal it's hate. Once you add the execute proc with hate and 12% crit over rift it's not that close IMO... It's even higher armor class due to better set bonus, I'll admit it was hard switching to sewer at 55 lol, loved that hate set!

Dug this out of an old XLS where I did the figures on the full stats of both sets including set bonuses, please correct me if anything is wrong, it's been a while since I did this so memory on math is fuzzy:

Add the frequent double damage execute proc and I vote for hate for the win for PVE assuming you have enough dex where hit% is covered. For a pure strength build where tanking is key Rift is still better I'd expect but that's about it. Welcome other opinions though, I'll admit I don't PVP so can't weigh in on that aspect!
