View Full Version : Vanities don't count toward inventory usage

I've been noticing today since the launch of the easter event that my seems to constanty be full. It gets to be a hassle having to sell a items off after every trip to a dungeon or having to pick and choose what you keep and don't keep on the spot. Now seeing as how the Easter event items take up 8 or (9?) inventory slots that only leaves 41 for other items. Now I know this seems like a lot, but when you add antennae, valentines day, st Patrick's day, Christmas and any other vanity items you carry, suddenly you have 10 or twenty slots left. Seeing as how you now can wear 5 pieces of gear and carry crafting items on top of that, you basically lose your inventory. Now i know you can purchase slots for your stash and or inventory but what about the players who can't afford it?

My point is, I was thinking if there was somehow a way to have the vanity items count towards your inventory. I mean, afterall, they are one of a kind. And seeing as how having multiple accounts can mean LOTS of vanity items, your stash might not be as effective either.

Doing this would free up inventory and allow players to easily keep all their special items.

Feedback, ways to tweak the idea, and advice on how to not always type extremely Long paragraphs every time I post are welcome.

Well, it worked :/. I caved and bought another 50 slots (total 150) for my Mage yesterday so I could continue with the Easter hunt.

Yes I had to do the same as well.

Stash is a option, but with it having no organizing features and multiple vanity helm sets per character, not enough.

My average inventory is 80. Vanity takes up maybe 20.

Liquidation is the bomb... USE IT!

Liquidate my pinks, vanity items, and gear? No.

Don't forget crafting materials!
Seriously, I look at my inventory and it seems like I have nothing in there, yet it's over 100.
(I should have given you your Jacobs helm back so I'd have room for one more bunny hat lol. But seriously -- let me know when you want to meet up and get it back!).

Edit: And I do have a few things I could sell, but to actually make enough room to continue playing, I would have had to buy more auction slots. So either way, I was forced to pay or stop playing. Mainly because I have almost all the antennas, and now 13 bunny ears. Shouldn't have to pay extra to hold gifts from the devs.

Another useless ao3 relic? D: lol
I didn't know I gave you a Jacob helm... :S I'm guessing thatnit is a rift.

Lol good thing I don t craft. I can't imagine how all that junk eats my space...

It's cosmos. When we were trying to figure out whether the new keeper staff set was worth using.

And I don't craft much either, but those darned quests give me them, and since I still have other mystery quests to complete, etc, I don't want to get rid of them and then find out I need them. And that, too -- a lot crafting materials are quest items, so to complete them, you're forced to carry around more stuff.

Edit: I can't even imagine how much inventory space collectors like Yanis and Parth use!

Well bought extra 50 slots just for easter event. :-/ id really like if they didnt count. Or maybe if we had anyway to buy us more inventory with gold. Or maybe craft a bag where other items could fit in.

Ha looks like they made money off this quest, and not just for the ears.

My point exactly. I feel like I'm being forced to pay for gifts or sell normal items I need.

Point and case. Feels unfair and pushy right? I know they need to make money but god...

+1 for vanities not taking up space. Was deciding if I even wanted to participate knowing I would need to liquidate 13 other items to keep them :(

I have the 250 slots we started with and its nice. Vanities take up about 40 sots tho wich is a pain. I totally agree.
