If the level cap is 61 (or 60), level 56 will only take 8300 exp.

no, it will be normal, as slush said, 8.3k xp. But the new "Elite mountain of a lvl" will turn into lvl61 if there will be one.

Im guessing the crown of persistence will be discontinued if level 56 takes 8.3k exp.

I think the lvl 56 crown will be discontinued, but they will come out with a lvl 61 crown of persistence. (just my speculation).

I think that would be great to do on STS's part. It could really show dedication for players if they get all of the crowns of persistence.
