Has this ever happened to anyone?

note* I was updating shootme, long overdue, could not open while updating.

I bought a keeper staff of the cosmos in the CS, saving it for 50, decent price (4k). run a CTK map right away, and guess what drops? a keeper staff of the cosmos.

has that ever happened to anyone? does not have to happen with a keeper of cosmos, but with any gear.

Happens to me a lot. not so much in bs tho but a lot in ao3. I had bought a schimitar when the prices were very low. I think i got 3 more on my way to 50

I've had that happen about twice, what I do is go resell it for the same price.

Haven't been that "lucky", but a friend wanted a Keeper's Staff, so she bought one. Turned out one of our group had got one in a drop the day before and had been planning on giving it to her. Then, we all went to CTK. First run, one dropped to me. Second run, one dropped to yet another friend in the group. All of us would've given them to her. Lol. She was a tad.....cranky.

I shall name no names, but yes, she got her staff--she bought it before Friend A could give her one and just before one dropped on me and on Friend B. And this was back before Keepers staffs were inexpensive items in the CS. Ouch.

I almost bought an sk bow befote i slept one night. Decided to sleep on it and decide the following day. That next day, i looted one within 30mins of being online.

Hah, I wish I could be that lucky. Most l of the time I get something mostly worthless, like the Khopesh of Anubis.

Yeah, I bought a Shivering Ice Auto Crossbow only to have one drop the same day. Made me feel kinda dumb.

Karma. I did this again with a djinn wand of Thoth, which is apparently not as good as.a.dreamer's bony fire pin. Anyone wanna buy a pink djinn wand of Thoth? I gave the duplicate to some random lvl 19

thats completely impossible khopeshes are discontinued....and thats not worthless that can sell for many moola

Well, it must be back because I looted it last weekend. When I first checked, there were none in the cs, a day later there were 3. Nobody was buying either. Lvl 45, dropped from Anubis in PP.
