Enchantress Spell Damage (MM vs. Fury)

I'm just wondering how much difference there is in terms of skill damage while wearing Fury Fighter Sword/Shield and Mega Mage Wand/Bracer sets. Could anyone post the skill damage for spells (drain, frost bite, lightning etc.) and also heal while using the MM set? Preferably with a pure int mage. That would be greatly appreciated.

Elar! How are ya! Umm, am I reading this wrong? There is no way a pure int mage can wear Fury....a Pally can, but then skill damage is down, especially on heal. Or was that int part only for the MM part?

Yeah, I was referring to pure int for MM set only. That way I can get the best possible skill damage. Right now I'm a pally, and yes skill damage really suffers. My heal does 80-160, lol. Basically I want to know if switching is worth it, because by comparing just stats fury comes out on top (more dodge, armor and the rest are about even). I'm more pvp-oriented right now.

The big difference between the two will be the loss of Int toward skill damage. Don't have numbers though as I pallish hybrish.

I am str/dex, no int at all :) I'm seriously considering pure int now. Just looking for the numbers to convince me.

I just sold my MM Bracer set...but I do remember skill damage generally being in the 275-350 range, and if you used a MM Gemstone Staff (of course losing some armor) it was ridiculous, like Drain doing something like 340-405. RedRyder and Noneo are 55 MM Bracer mages, ping them via PM or maybe someone else will chime in.

Let me see if I can respec and post some pics of mine enchanted set and naked so you can see. But even using half dex/int I lose like 30-40 points on skills and a lot more on heal. I was using custom set to test out pvp and 107 crit but even then you lose to much. I will check with DT since he has full MM wand/bracer set.

No need to respec just for me Eche, unless you were already planning to :) I tried pvp with custom set, and liked it at first. I think the amazing crit (100+ with buff?) makes up for te slight loss of spell damage but I died quickly. Pally is a very tanky and I still like it but I just wanna try pure int for a bit. Haven't been pure since ao3 cosmos set times.

Here are some SS using a mix of dex/int and pure int. Also heal is a lot different with dex you lose more than 60 I think (forgot to take the SS but I was in a hurry hehe) but it is a substantial loss. I was gonna respec sooner or later so why not to help you out. If DT logs he can tell you about the difference between fury/MM

Dex str Mage? No wonder lol. My heal as pally is somewhere at 200 as a dual int/str.

I get maybe 40 more damage with a staff than with a sword for skills, I think I compare with firestorm.

I'm not where I can log at the moment. But I am dual spec str/intel on my mage. I can equip either full FF for pally or full MM for intel. I'll log on in a couple hours when I get a chance. But from memory I can tell you there is a huge difference between my skill damage just changing from FF to MM gear. Around 60 pts of damage gets added going to wand bracer and close to 80 points for MM and staff. Because of thisi almost ways switch to and intel staff setup for bosses or when I need a lot of aoe damage.

Interesting gear to consider for pve is fortified on pally. The dmg increase it gives you over fury is definitely very noticable, while survivability is only a little less in some circumstances. That is, if you can live with the limited mana regen.

I tried it on my mage, and liked it a lot. I just like to do as much dmg as I can, so I'm back to pure int... For now :)

If u gonna switch to full int from pally then we need do bird bear pvp, I only like fights that last long like against ur pally hehe

Thanks you guys, I really appreciate all the input. I have already transitioned to pure int Mage with MM wand set. Haven't tried pve, but pvp didn't go well. I guess practice makes perfect, so I won't give up just yet.

Mitsui :) Yeah I think I should try enchanted staff set for pvp. Spell damage increases like 30-40 I think from MM wand set. I don't think I will go back to pally, although it was a lot easier to play. I will need practice with int mage, gonna call my punching bag ;)

I finally was able to sign on and here are the actually numbers for skill damage. As I mentioned, this is on a dual spec str/intel mage. No rings, or other buffs included. Just the gear and set bonus. Since this one is a 56 - the stats are 141 str/142 intel. I checked 4 skills all maxed out at level 6. I also did a quick respec to check and see the difference for a pure intel mage (318 int).

I can't post dex/int at the moment I just respec to full int but I will post fire storm and drain life damage. Heal is affected at least 60-80 points it is a lot. I was using dex just for fun I find full int more practical and dual with str is very good also. For me pure is the way to go, it is harder to keep alive but thats just part of the fun.

I know you already respeced to pure INT, but thought I add a little info...

I have been playing with a Fortified Set (with sword and shield) on my dual spec pally and I really like it. Here are some stats to compare with Doubletime's numbers:

The numbers are very similar to MM set with wand/bracer but my armor is 183 with no buffs, 223 with buff. I also have a crazy amount of HS regen at 45. I don't PVP at level 55, but I imagine hs of 45 would be very handy. If I add a Fine Crystal Ring of Life (unequiped for the numbers above) my MS regen is at 10, which isn't too bad with the new GDC.
