why are they selling platinum cheaper on the website than the one on the one if you buy on the game? is it really cheaper or they put it on the wrong prices? thanks

Apple (iTunes) gets a cut from what they sell in-app, while buying on the website buys it directly from them.

Or what Fluff said below :p

I know there is a website only special of 2000 platinum for 89.95 USD but the others are the same as in game.

aahh i see.. no dude! i wouldnt care if its just 4 cents --" the 30 platinum in the game its about 6 dollars something i think while the one on the website its 5 dollars. i usually buy the 75 platinum which only cost 9.50 on the website while its 12.50 on the game.. so yea.. im not being cheap but 3 dollars.. why not if you can save it right? hahaha

Might not be relevant, but what region is your iTunes account on? I also get that difference, but only because my in-game pricing is based on $AU, while the website is based on $US.

Not aussie, but yeah I am in Australia at the moment :) I get what you mean, it's just the currency difference that gives us the difference in price of in-game and website purchasing :)

It is with all the market stuff included, and I don't think iTunes, or Apple as a matter of fact, follows the market prices unless massive changes happen. Take for example the iPhones/iPads/Macs they sell. They come in a fixed price and no matter how the rates change, they stay the same.
