Rengol locked suggestion

I think the current system is flawed 9 rengol lockeds to make 1 massive locked? Makes more sense to save gold and just open 3 rengol lockeds which has same chance as one massive locked.

Note: I am a non plat player I haven't bought any platinum.

I propose you change the prices of the lockeds.
Rengol locked normal - 7 plat to open
Large rengol locked - 11 plat to open
Massive rengol locked - 14 plat to open

I think they should be left alone but the larger and massive locks need something more desirable and exclusive to those locks to make people want to open then and out the effort in to buy them and open such as a vanity ( already suggested ). If gold toor was given a special ability or buff or some sort that made him more useful that would help imo

Otherwise people will do what you said just pop open the normal locked crates

the loot inside of a Ren'gol Crate is not the same as loot from a Massive Ren'gol Crate however, and that is the main distinction.

This is a great thread of feedback! (and a lengthy read)

There is still more information yet to be released, but to reiterate there will be a chance to get Crate Tokens from Gold Orc Chests, at a rate yet to be determined for the same reasons everyone is already discussing. We want it to feel appropriate, as with all of our platinum based merchandise you are saving time by spending. It's a delicate balance where players feel time invested is on par or equal to the time saved by paying.

Keep an eye out for more info over the coming weeks, in the meantime here is some additional information related to the different Ren'gol Crates.

- Each Ren'gol Crate variation will responsible for their own high end loot rewards. In other words, the Item your specifically after may only exist in the Large Ran'gol Crate, or in the Normal Ren'Gol Crate. This in turn helps create a demand for each variation of the crate.

- Certain Mythic and Arcane items will be available through all Crate variations

We did not go into specifics, however we did acknowledge different high end loot is available from each Ren'gol Crate variation
